Council to consider lowering speed limit
The Guthrie City Council will still consider lowering the speed limit on a popular road.
Officials say the resolution would lower the speed limit to 45 miles per hour on S.Division St., just north of Prairie Grove Rd.
The Street Committee for the City of Guthrie met on Wednesday evening and discussed the same resolution.
Officials with the committee say they would approve the change as long as ODOT approved the move.
